Master ATA Chapters & Systems
Configure system classifications, component groups, and default governance per aircraft type (ATR72, B737NG, A320 Family). Governed fields are locked as read-only in item creation forms to enforce strict airworthiness compliance.
Mandatory Form Field Lock Rule: In item master forms (such as Add New Aviation Item Master), selecting an ATA Chapter automatically fills and locks as Read-Only the Component Group, System Title, Default Part Category, and default governance flags (LLP, Perishable, Serialized). These attributes can only be modified right here on this ATA Data Master screen per aircraft type.
